from winter break to spring break

No class happens on National holidays
which are 1/19: Martin Luther King Jr. 2/16: Presidents day & April 3rd: Cesar Chavez day

Available class spots are on Monday and Friday.

In these classes we make CERAMICS!! 
The kids create out of clay every week and they glaze every week 
so it is a fast paced class and a lot of finished pieces come home. 
Dana's philosophy is that making art gives the children an opportunity to listen to their inner voice, 
make their own decisions finding their own ideas and acting on them. 
The class builds confidence.
Dana teaches the basic ceramic skill set and gives a formal assignment the first class and when kids want them. 
As they develop their own ideas and concepts, Dana helps actualize their individual projects. 
The class uses tools, high quality clay and professional food safe glazes. 
Materials and kiln firings are included in the price.
The social dynamic between kids of different ages interacting with each other is beneficial. 
The class is a lot of GOOD MESSY FUN :)

This is a long session
Monday class is $350 and Friday class is $385.
Classes are held at Dana’s studio rain or shine
5551 Masonic Ave. Oakland
we are equipped with a roof for rain and shade
